Trainer(s)
Trust experienced teacher and examiner Aly Boniface to guide you through the results, examiner’s report and feedback from the 2024 exams and NEA.
Drawing on his extensive experience of OCR A-level History, Aly will answer key questions such as ‘What do these grades mean?’ and ‘How do we improve on this next year?’
- Thoroughly review students’ performance in each exam paper, identifying the strengths, weaknesses and lessons to be learnt
- Develop your understanding of the examining process, gaining insight into how questions are marked, what the examiners are looking for and how students can signpost in their responses
- Break down each paper in turn, looking at the nature of the questions and considering the best ways to use past papers and past answers to improve students’ grades
- Find out how to build what you have learnt about the exam requirements into your schemes of work and lessons, introducing strategies that will maximise students’ metacognition
