During this one-day workshop, the focus will be on acquiring effective skills for assessing student responses for Papers 1 and 2. You will learn how to accurately evaluate student answers, recognise typical errors, and plan for success.

Enhance your understanding of advanced assessment techniques by taking part in marking exercises and explore ways to improving student performance and developing their exam skills.

  • Identify and improve on the skills needed for the accurate assessment and feedback of student exam responses
  • Develop your understanding of how to effectively set and measure standards across a range of Paper 1 and 2 questions
  • Take part in marking activities to increase your confidence and help you focus on the key areas in which to enhance student performance
  • Receive advice on enhancing student responses and calculate and explain answers, review key areas students often make mistakes on and plan for success
