​​​Enhance your understanding of the AQA A-level marking standards by joining A-level experts Jackie Brookes and Ross Howitt to consider the principles which underpin marking and how to develop a best practice in your department. 

​This in-venue workshop will supply you with a bank of exemplar responses to mark and review with Jackie, Ross and like-minded teachers, plus provide you with the opportunity to clear up misconceptions with marking.  

  • ​Focus on what the golden rules are and how to mark accurately within your whole department 

  • ​Pay special attention to the 8- and 15-mark questions in order to ensure student progress is being monitored accurately  

  • ​Explore the assessment demands of the theory papers in detail in order to accurately inform pedagogy, planning and mini assessments
