A new name for Hodder Education

We’ve got some exciting news! We’re changing our company name. In January 2025, Hodder Education will officially become Hachette Learning. 

Why are we changing?

As a leading educational solutions provider, Hodder Education is growing fast. At the same time, educators' needs are changing rapidly too. To help support this growth in a changing educational landscape, we’re adopting the name of our parent company, Hachette UK.

Recognised globally as one of the world’s largest publishers, Hachette UK has a long history in education spanning almost 200 years. With their global reach and resources behind us, we can continue to meet the diverse needs of our customers as we grow.

Our new name recognises that learning is a lifelong process that continues beyond a school or college education. As Hachette Learning, we aim to empower everyone involved in education, giving them the skills, solutions and confidence they need to take learning to the next level. We’ve made it our mission to help every learner to reach their full potential, including teachers, parents and students alike.

It’s business as usual

While we are changing our name, rest assured it will be business as usual for our partners and customers. The way you use our products and services will remain the same. And we’ll continue to deliver the same high-quality solutions and collaborative learning experiences you’d expect from Hodder Education.

So what’s new?

We’ve got big plans for Hachette Learning, but for now the only difference you will notice is our change of name, coming soon in January 2025.
