About the Author(s):

Judith Ifould is Programme Manager for Beauty Therapy, Nail Technologies and Complementary Therapies  at Basingstoke College of Technology.

Debbie Forsythe-Conroy is Director of Quality at Bradford College and has senior management responsibility for curriculum, including Beauty Therapy. She has worked extensively in Beauty Therapy for over 30 years and has been both an external examiner and lead verifier for a major awarding body. She is also an education consultant and Ofsted Inspector.

Maxine Whittaker was formerly head of Beauty Therapy, Hairdressing and Complementary Therapies at De Montfort University, Lincoln. She has owned two successful beauty salon businesses and more recently she has been involved in teacher training.
